Choices and consequences
Most choices pay you or add a homie. Only Three Way decides the ending. Saving Shaundi is the branch Saints Row IV continues. Giving Josh to STAG or keeping him is a mid-game homie choice, not the finale.
The list
The Belgian Problem: blow the tower for permanent Respect, or defuse for permanent cash. The Ho Boat: hand someone over for a one-time cash hit, or keep them for hourly income. STAG Party: give Josh to STAG for help taking over, or keep Josh and gain Josh plus Nyte Blayde as homies. deckers.die: a garage discount or a weapon-upgrade discount. My Name is Cyrus Temple: pick two of three targets. Zombie Attack: return the virus for zombie homies, or destroy it for Burt and SWAT. Murderbrawl XXXI: unmask for the mask, or let him go for the Apoca-Fist. Three Way: kill Killbane or save Shaundi.
I am not going to pretend each of those flips the credits. The mission list and the Three Way page agree that the finale is the story split. The others are payouts and followers. Romance is not a dating system with a relationship meter I can cite, so I am not writing a girlfriend route.

Does giving Josh away change the ending?
No. It changes homies and the takeover help. The ending is Three Way.
Which ending is continued?
Save Shaundi. See the final mission page for who dies on the other branch.
