Party Time

Party Time is the fifth story mission and unlocks the Saints penthouse, also called Saints HQ. The earlier starting crib is Shaundi’s Loft, unlocked after We’re Going to Need Guns. Raid the penthouse, deal with the lieutenants and defuse the bomb to claim this new headquarters.

Order of beats

The wiki sequence is: airport, parachute onto the penthouse, capture or kill the first lieutenant, find the storage room, send Saints up the elevator, clear the floor, chase the helicopter, capture or kill the second lieutenant, defuse. Leaving the roof fails the mission. A lieutenant escaping also fails it. I do not have a separate “party time bug” article that reproduces one glitch, so I am not inventing a soft-lock. The Reaper drone, if used too early, makes the Oppressor spin in place. That is the phenomenon the page records.

After the bomb, the lights on the tower shift from red to purple. Trojan Whores, STAG Party, and Three Way also use this building. For the earlier starting crib, read the Shaundi’s Loft guide.

What fails Party Time?

Leaving the roof, or letting a lieutenant escape. Those are the failure rules on the mission page.

Is there a famous Party Time bug?

I did not find a sourced, reproducible bug under that name. The early Reaper drone spin is the phenomenon I can cite.
