The first crib is Shaundi’s Loft
Your first crib is Shaundi’s Loft in Brickston, unlocked after the third mission, We’re Going to Need Guns. Its unlock screen calls it Shaundi’s Ex’s Apartment. Saints HQ is the later penthouse unlocked by Party Time; its achievement wording can make those two unlocks easy to confuse.
Find the starting apartment
Shaundi’s Loft is a small second-floor apartment in Brickston. Finish We’re Going to Need Guns to unlock its wardrobe, garage, weapons cache and gang customization. Prima’s mission guide and the independent SuperCheats walkthrough both name the apartment as that mission’s crib reward. The wiki identifies it as the first crib.
The loft belongs to Shaundi’s unnamed ex in the story. “Shaundi’s Loft” is the map name; the unlock screen uses the ex’s apartment name. These labels refer to the same early property. It is a regular crib rather than a stronghold, so its basic facilities should not be confused with district upgrades.
When the Saints penthouse unlocks
Party Time later unlocks Saints HQ, a much larger penthouse south of Sunset Park in Downtown. It has lobby, garage and rooftop entry routes, including a helipad. Opulence, You Has It uses the phrase “first crib” for this mission, even though the campaign has already supplied the loft. That achievement wording describes a separate reward and does not change the earlier unlock order.
Saints HQ resembles a stronghold but the wiki explicitly says it lacks district upgrades. Use the crib table to compare property facilities and the upgrades page for the actual strongholds. Neither the loft’s early unlock nor the penthouse’s later unlock requires purchasing that property from a shop.
