Three Way, the final mission

The last mission is Three Way. You need Murderbrawl XXXI and Zombie Attack done first. One button eliminates Killbane. The other saves Shaundi. Saints Row IV continues from the Shaundi rescue, so that branch is the one later games treat as history.

The two buttons

Eliminate Killbane pays $20,000 and 5,000 Respect, gives the N-Forcer, and unlocks the STAG film. On that branch Shaundi, Viola, and Burt die. Save Shaundi pays no cash and unlocks Gangstas in Space. I am taking those rewards from the Three Way wiki page and the series continuity from Wikipedia plus the sequel’s opening, which the research ties to a developer comment. I will not call the Killbane branch “non-canon” in a sneering way. Later games simply follow the rescue.

Earlier choices do not pick this ending. The choices page lists seven branches. Only Three Way changes who is alive afterward. If a guide says “save Josh to get the good ending,” it is mixing a mid-game homie with the finale.

Where it happens

The confrontation uses the Saints penthouse, the same crib Party Time unlocks. Read that crib page if you are still trying to find the first hideout. The ending follow-up missions STAG Film and Gangstas in Space are part of the base game; the separately sold Gangstas in Space story pack shares a name but is a different set of missions.
