Saints Row: The Third on PS3

PS3 got the 2011 original, mostly as a physical disc. Co-op and character upload needed an Online Pass. Remastered was never a PS3 product. I am not printing a used-disc price because the price page I found only confirmed the disc exists.

What the disc is

Wikipedia places the PS3 game in the November 2011 launch. The Online Pass wiki page says console co-op and character sharing required the pass, unlike Steam and GOG. If you are buying a used disc for the campaign, the pass history matters only if you still expect online features.

PriceCharting lists a PS3 entry, which is enough to show the physical product is a known SKU. I did not get a numeric loose or complete price out of that page in this pass, so the price cell is empty. I also did not confirm whether the PS3 store still sells a digital copy in 2026.

What it is not

It is not Remastered, not the PS5 upgrade, and not a package file I will discuss. People searching for a PS3 digital dump are in the wrong guide. The legal leftover is a disc on a shelf or a store listing if Sony still has one.

FAQ

Is there a PS3 Remastered?

No. Remastered starts on PS4, Xbox One, and PC.

Do I need Online Pass?

For console co-op and character sharing, yes, according to the Online Pass page. The single-player disc does not become Remastered if you lack the pass.
