The Full Package explained

The Full Package is a 2012 bundle of the original game plus Genkibowl VII, Gangstas in Space, and The Trouble With Clones. It is not Remastered. The Switch version sold from 2019 is this bundle.

Dates I am leaving in conflict

Wikipedia records a North American street date of 6 Nov 2012 and an international date of 16 Nov 2012. The Saints Row wiki page for the bundle says 9 Nov 2012. I will not pick a winner. Both citations stay on this page until a publisher scan settles it.

The launch price recorded with the bundle is $49.99. That is a 2012 shelf price, not a 2026 store price. Current Switch pricing is on the Switch page, where Nintendo listed $19.99 and a $2.99 sale through 1 Nov 2026.

Included and excluded

Included: the three story packs and the bonus item packs that shipped with the bundle. Excluded, per the wiki’s package page: Online Pass, the Bloodsucker pack, and the Unlockable pack. Some listings also omit the Team Fortress 2 masks. Online Pass was a console code for co-op on the 2011 multiplayer services, not a Remastered feature.

If a video is titled “Full Package gameplay,” it is showing this content set on the old build. It will not show Remastered’s lighting. Switch gameplay is the same content set on Switch hardware, and Digital Foundry’s headline called the performance last-gen. I do not have a captured frame-rate number, so I do not print one.

FAQ

Is Full Package the same as Remastered?

No. Full Package is 2012 content on the original game. Remastered is the 2020 visual rebuild, which includes the story packs and still excludes three packs.

Does Switch include the story packs?

Yes. Nintendo’s listing is The Full Package, so the three story packs are part of that product.
